Dental Internship at Smile Solutions

Do you want to take your dental career to the next level?

Our internship program will provide the opportunity for you to go behind the scenes in Australia’s largest privately owned single location dental practice, and learn how it has continued to succeed and provide exceptional patient care for over 25 years.

Over the course of 2 weeks you will spend time with various members of our team across clinical operations and corporate and administrative management. You will have the opportunity to integrate with our team of dentists, board-registered specialists and hygienists.

Smile Solutions encourages students to remain part of our community following completion of their internship, which may include early intake into our annual graduate program or future employment opportunities.

What does the program look like?

Fully paid 2 week internship program*
9am to 5pm Monday to Friday^
Weeks can be split upon negotiation provided they are within a reasonable time-frame
Applications are open to all Dentistry students that have successful completed their second year of study
Daily opportunities for exposure and observation within the practice, contributing to the business
and working on individual and personally allocated clinical projects

*Paid based on administration award rates
^All hours to be completed on-site
Travel and accommodation at your own expense

seen our patient base achieve consistent growth. Owned and operated by a dentist since 1993, Smile Solutions, in conjunction with Core Dental, has built a patient base of over 300,000, with around 20,000 new patients each year.

Multidisciplinary opportunities

Work alongside our multidisciplinary team of clinicians,
developing your skills in peer collaboration and case analysis, as well as complex treatment planning.
We offer seamless mentorship programs, as well as in-house clinical lectures, courses, and tuitions, and access to peer review and discussion. All clinicians have the option of providing the full range of dentistry or alternatively focusing on areas of dentistry that suits your skill sets and ambitions.

Exceptional peer review

We boast a well-established recent-graduate program for clinicians, including an extensive clinical induction and a tailored ongoing support program. Graduate dentists work with clinical mentors across both general and specialist departments. We have been welcoming graduate dentists for over 25 years, most of most of whom are now senior clinicians in our team. We understand how to nurture recent graduates, and encourage working at your own pace allowing for individual growth and development.

With rooftop parties, cinema nights, formal dinners and rollerblading nights, there is always a fun event around the corner where you can relax and have fun with our warm and welcoming team.
